Documents You Need to Bring
Prepare these 4 categories of documents before visiting our office. Original documents are required along with self-attested photocopies.
Age Proof
Both Groom and Bride must submit any ONE of the following valid age proof documents. The document must clearly state your date of birth.
Address Proof
Both Groom and Bride must submit any ONE of the following valid address proof documents showing their current residential address.
Passport Size Photos
6 recent passport-size photographs each for the Groom and Bride (12 photos total). White background preferred. Photos must be recent and clearly show the face.
Witnesses ID Proof
Two or three witnesses must be present and submit address proof. Any one document from the Address Proof list (Step 2) is acceptable for each witness.
All documents must be originals with self-attested photocopies. For inter-religion marriages under the Special Marriage Act, an additional 30-day notice period applies. Contact us for a personalized document checklist for your specific marriage type.
